The United Arab Emirates is located in the eastern part of the Arabian Peninsula in Western Asia. Arabic is the main language, and English is also widely used. It consists of seven emirates, with most of its territory being desert and cities developed along the coast. Its arid climate brings very hot summers and low rainfall. It is widely known for its modern high-rise architecture, its role as an international trade hub, and its blend with traditional culture.
