About this site

WorldViews lets people around the world vote on their impressions of other countries and regions. It is inspired by long-running international perception studies such as those by Gallup and the Lowy Institute, reimagined as something anyone can take part in.

Each vote is a simple choice — Favorable or Unfavorable — and results are shown only as percentages and vote counts. The purpose is never to attack or rank down any country, region, or people. We do not publish negative-direction rankings.

Results based on few votes are statistically weak, so pages below a minimum vote count do not show percentages and are excluded from rankings.
