Cuba is an island country in the Caribbean Sea, consisting of one large island and many smaller ones. Spanish is the main language. Most of the country is plains and hills, with mountains in the southeast. It has a tropical climate with rainy and dry seasons, and is sometimes affected by hurricanes. Its music and dance, cigar production and historic streetscapes are known worldwide.
