Bangladesh is located in South Asia, with its south facing the Bay of Bengal. Bengali is the main language. Most of the country is a vast delta formed by rivers such as the Ganges, with flat, low-lying land. It has a tropical monsoon climate with heavy rainfall in the wet season and abundant rivers.
